It is hard to believe that we are in our eighth month of 2009 already! As we enter August, things continue to blaze ahead at full speed with bands in the studio, tours kicking off, new releases and more.  Check out Tooth & Nail, BEC Recordings and SolidState bands' news below.

IN THE STUDIO


Inhale Exhale: The band is wrapping up the final mixes of their new record, "Bury Me Alive," which is currently set to release October 6th. The forthcoming project was recorded by Travis Wyrick (POD, Disciple) and mixed by Devin Townsend (Misery Signals, Soilwork).

Oh Sleeper:  Recently finishing their upcoming album "Son of the Morning," which will be released this month on the 25th.

Secret & Whisper: The band has finished their next LP produced by Jeff Schneeweis.  The album is set to release later this fall.

TOURING


Showbread: Touring all over the US from August 13th thru October 1st.  Check out their MySpace for more information and tour dates.

Underoath: Continues on the Warped Tour throughout August. Dates.

Emery: Currently headlining "The Bailout Tour" with Maylene and the Sons of Disaster, Ivoryline/Secret & Whisper.  Check out their site for dates near you.

Oh Sleeper: Touring with Every Time I Die and Bring Me The Horizon Sept 8th - Oct 11th.  Click here for dates.

The Becoming: Touring all fall, tour announcements coming soon.

Jeremy Camp & Bebo Norman will head out on Jeremy's "Speaking Louder Than Before" Tour with Natalie Grant.  The tour kicks off in September running until November.  Check the tour dates here. Also be a part of the Speaking Louder Ministries in each local city, learn more here.

Hawk Nelson & special guest The Letter Black will be on the Skillet fall tour beginning in September.  Tour dates here.

Thousand Foot Krutch and FM Static will be on the Creation Festival: The Tour with Jars of Clay and others.  More info here.

KJ-52 and Run Kid Run will be out on tour with Pillar on their Confessions Tour, dates coming soon.

Thousand Foot Krutch wants you to "Fire It Up" with their song that is being heard everywhere:  Versus Network IndyCar races. ESPN NASCAR Nationwide series, MX vs. ATV Reflex and EA Sports NHL 10, and most recently on the G.I. Joe movie trailer.

 

 

RADIO HIGHLIGHTS FOR THIS WEEK


Thousand Foot Krutch's debut single from the upcoming album, "Forward Motion," made a leap up the charts at CHR by moving up 5 spots to #24 after their debut last week.

Hawk Nelson's huge success on add date with "Meaning Of Life" continues to carry over to this week with 8 new adds.  At AC Indicator and CHR, "Meaning Of Life" became New and Active this week.  At CHR the debut single had the most spin increase this week with +110 spins.

 

Seventh Day Slumber had a big boost at CHR with "From The Inside Out" this week jumping 5 spots with 2 new adds and an increase of 85 spins.

 

Once again, the label dominates at ROCK with 10 songs in the Top 30!
